The main purpose of the organic production is to obtain high quality food, basically associated with harmlessness, nutrition and human health. This environmentally sustainable production doesn’t make use of contaminant substances and protects biodiversity.
Demand. The main part of these products are addressed to the North Hemisphere countries, whose population is becoming aware of the necessity of improving the quality of life. Every day increases the consumption of healthy products obtained through process which take care of natural heritage.
Supply. Argentina has been historically a country where organic productions predominate: farming tools (plow, subsoil and chisel plow), crop rotation and minimal chemistry substances use. |

HQ Grains SA. After having acknowledged all this above information, HQ Grains SA decided to produce organic food since 2003. First of all we studied and analyzed laws issued by official bodies in our country (SENASA and SAGPyA), then we got in contact with Food Safety CERTIFICACION S.A., the company which certifies goods. In 2005 we achieved our first organic wheat harvest, and together with the production of soy, flax and oat.
Future. Worldwide demands increase every day and then Argentina, as one of the countries that can fulfil these demands is working under these premises.
We will be satisfied for having being protecting our natural resources: our soil and our water.
